Good staff
The discharge nurse 'Cheryl' has no respect for a patients family or their situation. My 82yo Dad is terminally ill (given 3-6mth, 4mth ago), but this woman doesn't GAF. She talks AT you, not TO you. My Dad can't even stand, or walk 5 steps, but he's well enough to be discharged ffs?!Absolutely ZERO interest in finding out a patients real situation by 'including the family' in the decision process. She disregarded all Oncology advice given to us (HIS FAMILY!!), treating just a symptom with NO care for the 'cause'. I was told 'end of life' & 'terminal illness' was treated with some compassion?! Which with 2 x terminally ill parent's, i could do with about now!! But nooo.. Just a woman on a power trip! If you want to feel respected?! Do NOT go to this hospital!! The staff are great, but then they chuck them out before the patient is well enough! Im making a report to Dept of Health & have already made an appt with our local State MP. God forbid my Dad is found in his home in a bad way, or worse?! Because, if so.. it's on her head! They have a 'Duty of care', they're clearly ignoring!!

Very attentive & diligent staff who attended to my wife who was admitted for a severe allergic reaction. Very caring & concerned nursing staff in Emergency. Very surprised as it's our first experience after recently moving to the area.
Had day surgery here and I must say from the doctors to the nurses, all the staff were absolutely brilliant! Informative, comforting and great positive, happy attitudes that made my visit there a very pleasant experience. Thanks once again to all at Macksville Hospital.
